Natural History Museum in Split

Natural History Museum in Split

Location: Natural History Museum in Split

Date: January 31, 2025

Under the theme Visible and Invisible, the program explores the relationship between what is visible and what remains hidden, both in nature and in museums. The Natural History Museum's program begins several days before the main event and reaches its peak during the Night of Museums. In addition to the award ceremony, a series of activities related to the theme will take place. While the exhibitions and workshops make the museum's natural and cultural heritage visible, invisible processes such as taxidermy, conservation, and research form the foundation for their preservation and presentation. The Natural History Museum connects the theme Visible and Invisible through the display of natural processes like mimicry and camouflage.
