Cirkus Kolektiv is organizing Split Calling for the third time – a festival of contemporary circus and art in public space, which will take place at the end of October 2025. During two days of pre-program and three festival days, the city’s streets and squares will once again become a stage – a meeting point of art and community.

This year’s program brings together diverse formats: from contemporary circus and physical theatre, through performative walks, urban interventions, and musical performances, to a film evening and artist talks. This year’s festival brings together artists from Croatia, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Lithuania, creating a space for the meeting of art and community.

A special segment is a street theater masterclass led by the world-renowned director and clown Adrian Schvarzstein, with participation from artists from Croatia and the region. The workshop will take place on October 19, 2025.

The festival highlights the importance of public spaces in the center of Split, not as a tourist backdrop, but as places of renewed encounters for the local community.
