Schola cantorum Split i Camerata Vocale Split s ponosom najavljuju 7. međunarodni festival pjesme Sing in Split, koji će se održavati od 19. do 29. listopada 2024. godine.

Ovaj renomirani glazbeni događaj okuplja vrhunske klape, zborove i dirigente iz Hrvatske i inozemstva, pružajući nezaboravne glazbene večeri za sve ljubitelje vokalne umjetnosti. 

Festival započinje u subotu, 19. listopada, s tradicionalnim Spli’skim klaparelom, 5. smotri klapa u kojoj sudjeluju renomirane klape: Orca, Mriža, Krunik, Bistrica, Stivanja, Tragos, Kampaneli i Ventula, koja je ujedno i organizatorica ove večeri, a suroganizatorica festivala. Nastup će se održati u Hrvatskom domu Split s početkom u 20:00 sati. 

Niz događanja nastavlja se u četvrtak, 24. listopada, kada će Crkva sv. Donata u Zadru ugostiti Mješoviti pjevački zbor Musica Vocale Wageningen iz Nizozemske pod vodstvom dirigenta Roba Vermeulena i gostujuće dirigentice Sare Dodig Baučić. Program će obuhvatiti djela slavnih skladatelja poput Brahmsa, Rahmanjinova, Poulenca i drugih. Koncert započinje u 20:00 sati. 

U petak, 25. listopada, isti zbor nastupa i u Hrvatskom domu Split, s početkom u 19:00 sati, pružajući još jednu priliku za uživanje u bogatom repertoaru koji osim navedenih djela uključuje i djela Lukačića, Silverstrova i Eschera. 

Festival završava radionicom na temu Glas i tijelo: novi pristup zborskom pokretu / Voice and Physique: a new approach to the choir movement u kojoj će sudjelovati Panda van Proosdij (Nizozemska) i Mješoviti zbor Umjetničke akademije u Splitu, a održat će se u Multimedijalnoj dvorani Sveučilišne knjižnice, 29.10. u 19h.

Schola Cantorum Split and Camerata Vocale Split are proud to announce the 7th International Song Festival Sing in Split, which will take place from October 19 to 29, 2024. This renowned music event brings together top vocal ensembles, choirs, and conductors from Croatia and abroad, offering unforgettable musical evenings for all lovers of vocal art.

The festival opens on Saturday, October 19, with the traditional Spli’ski Klaparel, the 5th review of *klapa* groups featuring renowned ensembles: Orca, Mriža, Krunik, Bistrica, Stivanja, Tragos, Kampaneli, and Ventula, which is also the organizer of this event and co-organizer of the festival. The performance will take place at the Croatian National Theatre Split at 8:00 PM.

The events continue on Thursday, October 24, when the Church of St. Donatus in Zadar will host the Musica Vocale Wageningen Mixed Choir from the Netherlands, conducted by Rob Vermeulen and guest conductor Sara Dodig Baučić. The program will include works by famous composers such as Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Poulenc, and others. The concert begins at 8:00 PM.

On Friday, October 25, the same choir will perform at the Concert hall Ivo Tijardović, starting at 7:00 PM, providing another opportunity to enjoy their rich repertoire, which, in addition to the aforementioned works, includes pieces by Lukačić, Silverstro, and Escher.

The festival concludes with a workshop titled Voice and Physique: a new approach to the choir movement, featuring Panda van Proosdij (Netherlands) and the Mixed Choir of the Academy of Arts in Split. This event will be held in the Multimedia Hall of the University Library, on October 29 at 7:00 PM.
