Dear citizens and visitors, 

Remedial works in Marjan Forest Park will continue from Monday, 2 February 2026, until further notice. The works are being carried out to prevent the spread of the Mediterranean pine bark beetle and to restore the forest ecosystem damaged by summer windthrow.

Due to tree remediation works and for the safety of people and property, a ban on movement and staying in the area is in effect in the following locations:
 

• Marina Tartaglia Promenade
   
• the forested area of Marjan Forest Park north of the Water Reservoir ramp, Sedlo, and the Watchtower

The works are technically demanding and involve the operation of heavy machinery, therefore visitors are kindly asked to respect the temporary restrictions. The area will be monitored by security services, and citizens are asked to comply with the temporary traffic and movement regulations.

Marjan Forest Park will be reopened gradually, by zones, in accordance with the progress of the works. The ban will remain in force until the completion of the works or until an official notice of its revocation is issued. 

Dragi sugrađani i posjetitelji,

sanacijski radovi u Park-šumi Marjan nastavljaju se od ponedjeljka, 2. veljače 2026. godine, do daljnjega. Radovi se provode radi sprječavanja širenja mediteranskog potkornjaka te obnove šumskog ekosustava oštećenog ljetnim vjetrolomom.

Zbog radova na sanaciji stabala te sigurnosti ljudi i imovine, na snazi je zabrana kretanja i zadržavanja na sljedećim područjima:
 

• šetalište Marina Tartaglie
   
• šumski dio Park-šume Marjan sjeverno od rampe Vodosprema, Sedla i Promatračnice

Radovi su tehnički zahtjevni i uključuju kretanje strojeva, stoga molimo posjetitelje da poštuju privremenu zabranu. Područje će nadzirati zaštitarska služba, a građane molimo da poštuju privremenu regulaciju kretanja.

Park-šuma Marjan otvarat će se postupno, po zonama, sukladno napretku radova. Zabrana ostaje na snazi do završetka radova, odnosno do službene obavijesti o njezinu opozivu.
