20th EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS' NIGHT

20th EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS' NIGHT

Location: Prokurative Square, Alliance Française, Faculty of Law

Date and Time: September 26, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Join us at this year’s European Researchers’ Night I Explore and celebrate with us the 20th anniversary of this event!

European Researchers’ Night is traditionally organized every year on the last Friday of September, and this year it will take place on September 26 in five Croatian cities: Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Rijeka, and Pula. The event includes a series of science-and-society activities aimed at engaging people of all educational backgrounds, especially children and young people. The focus is on those who have less access to science and research, and therefore are less inclined to pursue STEAM fields or research activities.

A rich program full of workshops, experiments, and games will bring together science, creativity, and fun for all ages.

At Split’s Prokurative Square, you can take part in creative workshops and psychology experiments, explore an educational VR game about the influence of media, and learn about exciting EU projects such as the protection of sharks and rays. Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to discover how the media shapes our reality and to gain insights into marine ecosystem preservation.

Special attention is given to activities related to the sea and ecology, including interactive experiments, quizzes, and workshops on sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and climate change. The program also features a series of lectures at the Alliance Française and the Faculty of Law.
