Šahovski klub Brda – Split is organizing the international Split Chess Open 2026, which will take place from August 6 to 14, 2026, at Hotel Zagreb in Split.

The festival brings together chess players from Croatia and abroad and features Standard, Rapid, and Blitz tournaments, all of which will be FIDE-rated. With an attractive prize fund and live broadcasts of games from the top boards, the event is expected to attract numerous top-level players and chess enthusiasts.
