MENTAL HEALTH FESTIVAL - DAY OF MENTAL REST

Date and Time: October 12-13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM

 

Udruga Feniks Split invites all citizens to the fun, two-day of Mental Health Festival - Day of Mental Rest, taking place this weekend, October 12, 2024 (Saturday) and October 13, 2024 (Sunday), in the park at Turska Kula.

 

The festival is traditionally organized in collaboration with the members of the association and numerous volunteers – local artists, entrepreneurs, dancers, athletes, students, musicians, trainers, and others. It takes place the weekend before World Mental Health Day (October 10, 2024), with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of socializing, relaxation, sports, art, humor, relaxation, and fun for maintaining everyone’s mental health.

 

This year, a rich program has been created, running from the morning to late evening (11:00 AM – 10:30 PM). 

 

 

 

The program includes the following activities:

 

  • GYM UNDER THE PINE – Sports and recreational activities (volleyball, mini-football, badminton, hula hoop, jump rope...)
     
  • LITTLE CERAMICS SCHOOL
     
  • BOARD GAME CLEARING
     
  • Yoga Workshop
     
  • Pebble Workshop "You Rock!"
     
  • Guided Meditation Workshop
     
  • FJAKA CLEARING with blankets and hammocks
     
  • Live Acoustic Music + Jam Session
     
  • Non-Alcoholic Cocktail Café
     
  • DJ Program
     
  • Antidepressant Pastry Shop
     
  • Tai Chi Exercises
     
  • Storytelling for Kids
     
  • Origami Workshop
     
  • Coloring Pages for Children and Adults
     
  • Therapeutic Storytelling Session
     
  • Zumba Dance Class (Elsie & Dance Club Step)
     
  • Picnic Lunch on the Grass (vegetarian/meat portions)
     
  • Charity Second-Hand Market

You are welcome to bring your children, grandparents, friends, and pets. All activities are free and inclusive.

 

The realization of this year's festival was made possible by a financial donation from Studenac, through the program Korak Bliže Zajednici (A Step Closer to the Community), which allowed the festival to last two days.

 

The festival is also part of the "Roll Up Your Sleeves for Mental Health" program, funded by the Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family, and Social Policy, and the project "I’ve Had Enough!" funded by the City of Split and Split-Dalmatia County.
