The City of Split, Tourist Board of Split, and Croatian National Theatre Split Present the Ballet Spectacle The Nutcracker as a Gift to Citizens of Split

Free tickets will be available at the Croatian National Theatre box office starting Thursday, December 5, 2024.

The City of Split, the Tourist Board of Split, and the Croatian National Theatre Split invite you to a performance of the ballet spectacle The Nutcracker on Monday, December 9, at 6 PM.

The most performed "white ballet" worldwide has been breaking attendance records in Croatia for years and is again part of the Croatian National Theatre Split's repertoire this season. The choreography of Waczlaw Orlikowski has been adapted by choreographer Božica Lisak, and the lavish production features the entire Ballet ensemble alongside young dancers from the Ballet Studio, with over 130 performers on stage.

The success of The Nutcracker can undoubtedly be attributed to its enchanting storyline and dramatic structure, meticulously crafted by Tchaikovsky in collaboration with Marius Petipa. However, its enduring popularity owes much to the music, which allows dancers to showcase their talent fully.

This year, tickets are being distributed to our retirees. Any remaining tickets will be available to the public at the Croatian National Theatre box office on the performance day, starting at noon.
