The Arts Academy in Split and the Multimedia Cultural Center Split are pleased to invite you to the opening of the final exhibition of the Painting Department, Production 2026, which will take place on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at 8 p.m. at the Multimedia Cultural Center.

The final exhibition of the Painting Department of the Arts Academy in Split presents works by undergraduate and graduate students, created through various practical courses within the curriculum during the 2025/2026 academic year.

The exhibition offers insight into the recent student production of the Painting Department, which fosters the development of individual and diverse artistic approaches and interests, as well as openness to both dominant and emerging theoretical perspectives in the field of visual culture, while maintaining a focus on visual art as the foundation of artistic creation.

The aim of regularly presenting student works in a dedicated gallery space is to enable students to gain experience through the exhibition-making process and to confront the critical perspective of the public.

The exhibition will be open until 19 June 2026, daily except Sundays and public holidays, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Admission is free.

The exhibition is realized within the institutional research project KUZ: Contact – Art in the Community, with the aim of promoting the study program and introducing the public to the results of the teaching process of the Painting Department of the Arts Academy in Split.
