EXHIBITION OF UMAS STUDENTS – “WORK, TEXT, CONTEXT (Mapping Place)”
Location: Diocletian’s Palace Cellars
Dates: 10–22 February 2026
The exhibition “Work, Text, Context (Mapping Place)” is a collaborative project by students of the Art History Department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split and the Painting Department at the Arts Academy in Split.
The fifth edition of the project, developed since 2017, explores the mapping of place as a process of reflecting on the relationship between space, experience, and meaning. Through various artistic and curatorial approaches, the works are established in dialogue with the unique setting of the Diocletian's palace cellars.
