U listopadu će se održati 1. Mjesec gastronomije u Splitu pod nazivom „Štorije o´ spize“. 

Jedinstveni program u kojem će sudjelovati brojni zaljubljenici u dobru hranu i savršenu prezentaciju. Pažljivo osmišljena jela pripremat će se u različitim ugostiteljskim objektima koji će kreirati jedinstvene „Štorije o´ spize“.

Kao dio gastro događanja ističe se Međunarodni Festival Taste the Mediterranean, koji ove godine slavi svoju 10. godišnjicu i koji će u Split dovesti ugledne strane i domaće goste i profesionalce iz svijeta gastronomije.

 

10. MEĐUNARODNI FESTIVAL TASTE THE MEDITERRANEAN

Ovo je godina 10. jubilarnog izdanja Festivala Taste the Mediterranean (TTM) koji će se održati u Splitu od 4. do 9. listopada 2022. 

Velika obljetnica, koja označava i 10. godišnjicu ulaska Mediteranske dijete na UNESCO-vu listu nematerijalne kulturne baštine. Uz Italiju, Španjolsku, Grčku, Portugal, Maroko, Cipar i Hrvatska je sa svojom mediteranskom prehranom uvrštena na tu prestižnu listu. Od samog početka Festival TTM želi predstaviti, promovirati i očuvati mediteransku hranu, gastronomiju i domaće proizvode, ali i mediteransku kulturnu baštinu i mediteranski način života. Okuplja najbolje strane i hrvatske kuhare, sve redom nagrađene Michelinovim zvjezdicama, Gault & Millau tokama i drugim važnim priznanjima. Uz chefove u Festivalu sudjeluju proizvođači hrane, vinari i drugi stručnjaci iz područja gastronomije, održivog turizma, poljoprivrede i ribarstva, novinari i gurmani.

GOURMET MARATON

U drugoj polovici listopada će se održati i prvi gourmet maraton, dok će se u narednom razdoblju isti nuditi grupama i / ili pojedincima koji će moći kupiti gourmet šetnju Splitom i kroz 3 do 5 restorana, u kojem će u svakom biti poslužen jedan slijed (jedno jelo) s pripadajućom čašom vina, doživjeti pažljivo osmišljeni splitski gourmet menu.  Listopadski splitski gourmet maraton će uključiti i obilazak odabranih splitskih atrakcija prezentiranih kroz gastro priču.

 

GRAND GOURMET 

Međunarodni festival i natjecanje koje promovira najbolje konobare, barmene, bariste i restorane. Split Grand Gourmet, u organizaciji ŠKMER-a, obuhvaća natjecanja barista, barmena i konobara, a označava kraj gastro mjeseca. Uz profesionalno natjecanje  organizirat će se neke dodatne radionice i sadržaje vezane uz gastronomiju u zadnjem tjednu u listopadu.

ŠTORIJE O'VINIMA NA PEŠKARIJI

14 i 15. listopada i 21 i 22. listopada održat će se ŠTORIJE O' VINIMA na Peškariji

Prezentacija vinara i degustacije autohtone i zaboravljene sorte vina iz Dalmatinskog kraja.

Uz vinare, svakog dana festivala predstavit će se i Turističke zajednice gradova u okolici Splita koje će sa svojim autohtonim proizvodima obogatiti ponudu festivala. 

Vina i proizvodi moći će se svakog dana festivala degustirati i kupiti po posebnim festivalskim cijenama od 18:00 do 21:00h.

Petak, 14. listopada – TZ Marina: degustacija i prodaja maslinovog ulja uz zabavni program

Subota, 15. listopada – TZ Omiš: degustacija i prodaja soparnika uz zabavni program

Petak, 21. listopada – TZ Vrgorac: degustacija i prodaja pršuta, pancete i vina uz zabavni program

Subota, 22. listopada – TZ Kaštela: degustacija i prodaja vina uz zabavni program

 

20. do 22. 10. - posjet Splitu najbolje Chefice svijeta prema The World's 50 Best - Leonor Espinosa

 

DANI TURISTIČKO-UGOSTITELJSKE ŠKOLE SPLIT

22., 24. i 25. listopada 2022. održat će se Dani Turističko-ugostiteljske škole u Splitu -trodnevna manifestacija koja predstavlja jedan korak prema boljoj i održivoj turističkoj budućnosti grada Splita, simboličkog naziva FitSplit RCK (Future In Tourism).

22. listopada 2022. - Prokurative od 10:00 do 15:00 sati - Dan otvorenih vrata pod nazivom „Kad narastem bit ću… Chef“

Učenici turističke škole kuhaju sa najpoznatijim splitskim chefovima i pripremaju koktele uz  glazbeni program.

24. listopada 2022. – Dan karijera za učenike Turističke škole pod nazivom „Danas mentori…sutra poslodavci“ - početak u 10:00 sati u prostoru Inkubatora Spinit

Ciljana skupina su učenici završnih razreda naše škole i partnerskih škola, kao i polaznici cjeloživotnog učenja i obrazovanja odraslih koji po završetku srednjoškolskog obrazovanja izlaze na tržište rada. U sklopu ove manifestacije planiran je i okrugli stol i panel rasprava na kojem će sudjelovati predstavnici lokalne uprave, poslodavaca i posrednika pri zapošljavanju.

25. listopada 2022. - Dan obrazovanja za učenike Turističke škole „Ključ za pravi odabir studija“ s početkom u 10:00 sati u prostoru Inkubator Spinit

Ciljana skupina su učenici završnih razreda naše škole i partnerskih škola kao i polaznici cjeloživotnog učenja i obrazovanja odraslih koji imaju namjeru nastaviti obrazovanje u sektoru turizma i ugostiteljstva. U sklopu manifestacije planirani su okrugli stol i panel rasprava za stručnjake iz područja obrazovanja.


29. listopada – gostovanje TZ Sarajevo – Prokurative od 10:00 do 15:00 sati

Kulinarski gastro show - priprema tradicionalnih sarajevskih specijaliteta VS tradicionalni dalmatinski specijaliteti. Gostovanje poznatih chefova iz Sarajeva koji će kuhati sa splitskim kolegama.

In October, the 1st Month of Gastronomy will take place in Split under the name "Štorije o' spize".

A unique program in which many lovers of good food and perfect presentation will participate. Carefully thought-out dishes will be prepared in different catering facilities that will create unique "Štorije o´ spize".

As part of the gastronomic events, the International Taste the Mediterranean Festival, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and will bring distinguished foreign and domestic guests and professionals from the world of gastronomy to Split, stands out.

 

10th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL TASTE THE MEDITERRANEAN

This is the year of the 10th anniversary of the Festival Taste the Mediterranean (TTM), which will be held in Split from October 4 to 9, 2022. 

A big anniversary, which also marks the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of the Mediterranean Diet in the UNESCO representative list of intangible cultural heritage. Along with Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Morocco, Cyprus, Croatia, with her Mediterranean Diet is also included in that prestigious list. From the very beginning, the Festival wanted to present, promote and preserve the Mediterranean food, gastronomy and domestic products, as well as the Mediterranean cultural heritage and the Mediterranean way of life. TTM brings together the best foreign and Croatian chefs, all with Michelin stars, Gault & Millau toques and other important awards. In addition to the chefs, food producers, winemakers and other experts from the field of gastronomy, sustainable tourism, agriculture and fishing, journalists and gourmets participate in the Festival.

The program includes professional workshops, lectures and panels, masterclasses by world culinary stars, wine tastings and four-hands dinners in the best Split restaurants (prepared by the guest chefs alongside the host chefs). Exchange of experiences, education and networking are the main goals of the Festival. In less than ten years, TTM has become an unavoidable gourmet event in this part of the Mediterranean. Good food, good wine, good fun is the motto of the Festival.

GOURMET MARATHON

The first Gourmet Marathon will take place in the second half of October. 

In the following period, the Gourmet Marathon will be available to groups and individuals for purchase. The gourmet walk through Split will include visits to 3 to 5 restaurants, in each of which one course will be served (one dish) with an accompanying glass of wine, to experience the carefully designed Split gourmet menu. The October Split Gourmet Marathon will also include a tour of selected Split attractions presented through a gastronomic story.

 

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL GRAND GOURMET

This international festival Grand Gourmet includes international competition of catering schools, waiters, bartenders, barista and both national and international competition of restaurants represented by teams made of waiters and chefs. As part of the event we also have education sessions and competition of hospitality schools' students. Individual competition was designed as a presentation of waiters' personality and quality. On the other hand, team competition presents joint efforts of chefs who are preparing dishes for four persons, and waiters who serve those same dishes.

Each day of the Grand Gourmet includes morning lectures, education sessions and trainings, and competitions and exhibitions are scheduled in the afternoon. Main goal of this project is to promote, educate and improve skills and knowledge of hospitality industry personnel.

WINE STORIES IN THE FISH MARKET

On October 14 & 15 and October 21 & 22, the WINE STORIES will take place in the Fish Market

The Wine Stories includes the presentation of winemakers and the tasting of autochthonous and forgotten varieties of wine from the Dalmatian region.

Along with the winemakers, every day of the festival, the Tourist Boards of the cities around Split will present themselves and enrich the festival's offer with their indigenous products.

Wines and products will be available for tasting and purchase at promotional prices every day of the Wine Stories festival from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Friday, October 14 – Tourist Board of Marina: tasting and sale of olive oil with an entertainment program

Friday, October 21 - Tourist Board of Vrgorac: tasting and sale of prosciutto, pancetta, and wine with an entertainment program

Saturday, October 22 - Tourist Board of Kaštela: wine tasting and sale with an entertainment program

 

DAYS OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY SCHOOL SPLIT

On October 22, 24, and 25, 2022, the Days of the Tourism and Hospitality School in Split take place.  

It is a three-day event that represents one step towards a better and sustainable tourism future for the city of Split, symbolically called FitSplit RCK (Future In Tourism).

October 22, 2022 - Prokurative (Republic's Square) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - open day called "When I grow up, I will be... a Chef".

Students of the tourism school cook with the most famous Split chefs and prepare cocktails with a musical program.

October 24, 2022 - Career day for students of the Tourism School called "Today mentors...tomorrow employers" - starting at 10:00 a.m. in the SPINIT incubator.

The target group is students in the final grades of tourism school and partner schools, as well as participants in lifelong learning and adult education who enter the labor market after completing secondary education. As part of this event, a round table and panel discussions will take place, in which representatives of the local administration, employers, and employment intermediaries will participate.

October 25, 2022 - Education day for students of the Tourism School "The key to the right choice of study" starting at 10:00 a.m. in the SPINIT incubator

The target group is students in the final grades of tourism school and partner schools, as well as participants of lifelong learning and adult education who intend to continue their education in the tourism and hospitality sector. As part of the event, a round table and a panel discussion for experts in the field of education will take place.

 

October 29, 2022 - the visit of the Tourist Board of Sarajevo - Prokurative (Republic's square) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Culinary gastro show - preparation of traditional Sarajevo specialties VS traditional Dalmatian specialties. Famous chefs from Sarajevo will come to Split and cook with colleagues from Split.
