The festival is held as part of the “Spli'ski litnji koluri” event.

Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Croatian cultural heritage, this festival presents a rich programme of traditional customs, music, and folklore. Since 2016, it has brought together guardians of intangible cultural heritage – klapa and folk singers, cultural and artistic societies, traditional instrument performers, as well as numerous other amateur and professional artists.

This year’s edition is dedicated to traditional jewellery heritage – handcrafted ornaments made of gold, silver, and other metals, which have throughout history been an essential part of Adriatic folk costumes and customs. The programme will present various forms of traditional jewellery, including headdresses, earrings, necklaces, belts and rings, as well as the customs of gifting jewellery to young women and brides.

A special part of the programme will introduce guests from the Pokuplje and Posavina regions, showcasing their folklore traditions and customs of gifting jewellery to brides, accompanied by special presentations and a film screening.
