11th Dalmatia Film Festival

Location: Zlatna vrata Cinematheque (Dioklecijanova 7)

Dates: 2–5 December 2026

The eleventh edition of the international Dalmatia Film Festival will take place from 2 to 5 November 2026 at the Zlatna vrata Cinematheque in Split.

This year's competition programme features 38 short fiction, documentary, animated and experimental films by Croatian and international filmmakers, showcasing the latest film productions. A special section of the programme is dedicated to Croatian animator and director Joško Marušić, the first recipient of the DFF Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to cinematography. A retrospective screening of ten of his animated films will take place on 3 November at 7:45 PM, followed by an opportunity to meet the filmmaker and take part in a discussion with the audience.

The festival will also present Mala škola filma (Little Film School), a filmmaking workshop for children. In addition, a free screenwriting workshop, DFF Screenwriting Lab, will be held from 16 to 20 November at the Marko Marulić City Library. The workshop will be led by Diego Fandos, filmmaker and professor at Prague Film School.
