From August 18 to 22, 2026, Split and its surroundings will host the 5th International Folklore Festival, organized by the Folklore Ensemble Jedinstvo Split. The festival brings together folklore groups from Croatia and abroad, offering a rich program of traditional dances, music and cultural performances that celebrate the diversity of the world's cultural heritage.

Programme: 

• August 18, 2026 – Split
  The festival’s official opening ceremony will take place on August 18 on Split’s Riva waterfront. The programme begins at 6:30 PM with a presentation of dance ensembles in front of the Croatian National Theatre in Split, as part of the Spli'ski litnji koluri festival. At 7 PM, all participants will take part in a promenade via Gaje Bulata Square, Marmontova Street and the Riva. The grand concert on the Riva begins at 8 PM.
