VIBREZ FESTIVAL AT MEŠTROVIĆ GALLERY

VIBREZ FESTIVAL AT MEŠTROVIĆ GALLERY

Location: Meštrović Gallery (Šetalište Ivana Meštrovića 46)

Dates: 26 – 30 August 2026

Vibrez Festival once again confirms its status as one of the most exciting music events in Split in 2026, bringing a total of eight concerts to be held from August 26 to 30 at the Meštrović Gallery, and from September 7 to 9 at Peristyle.

This year’s program once again combines outstanding musical names with unique venues, creating a distinctive festival experience that goes beyond traditional concert formats. Vibrez Festival 2026 has only just begun announcing its lineup—the rest of the program will be gradually revealed in the coming period.

A special atmosphere will be shaped by the setting of the Meštrović Gallery itself—a fusion of art, architecture, and the sea, offering an intimate and unique concert backdrop.

The first official announcement brings the arrival of the cult Scottish band Mogwai, who will perform on August 26 at the Meštrović Gallery.

Program:

For nearly three decades, Mogwai have built a recognizable sound in which silence alternates with powerful sonic climaxes, creating an intense and emotional live experience. Their performances are known for their strong dynamics and atmosphere, guiding audiences from subtle passages to overwhelming peaks.

World-renowned fado diva Mariza is coming to Vibrez Festival 2026. Emotion, charisma, and a voice that transcends language – experience fado at its finest.

Mario Biondi has established himself as a distinctive voice on the contemporary European soul scene, recognized for his deep baritone whose tone and phrasing evoke the tradition of classic American soul. His musical expression is shaped at the intersection of rhythm and blues, jazz, swing, and a crooner aesthetic, with a repertoire that convincingly spans both original compositions and carefully selected interpretations.

Laibach is a Slovenian avant-garde band founded in 1980 in Trbovlje, known for its industrial sound and provocative aesthetic that uses motifs of totalitarianism, militarism, and political symbolism.

Morcheeba holds an important place in the British electronic and downtempo tradition as a group that, from the very beginning, built a trip-hop sensibility in combination with pop, soul, and psychedelic heritage. At the core of their sound lies a distinctive interplay between subtly layered production and the soft, evocative vocal performance of Skye Edwards.
