Opening of the exhibition by Tonka Petrić – “Other Dreams Are Waiting for Me” at the Emanuel Vidović Gallery

As part of the Night of Museums event, the Museum of the City of Split presents an exhibition of paintings by Tonka Petrić (1929–1996), an artist known for her powerful, introspective, and metaphorical expression.

Marking the 30th anniversary of her death, the exhibition features a selection of works that trace the development of her painting and reveal an artist who worked outside prevailing trends, guided by inner necessity.

The exhibition opens on Friday, 30 January 2026 at 7:00 PM, with a guided expert tour available at 9:00 PM.
