The opening of the exhibition “Between Dreams and Reality” will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Old City Hall.

The exhibition presents a representative selection of works from the National Museum of Modern Art (NMMA) collection, organized in cooperation with the Split City Museum.

The concept and exhibition design are by Branko Franceschi. The immediate impetus for the exhibition was the desire to present to the Split audience, following Medović’s Bacchanal, Bukovac’s painting Gundulić Imagines Osman (1894), one of the most renowned works of Croatian modern art.
