Traditional folk festival has been going on for over two decades, continuing every year in June. Radunica is one of the oldest Split suburbs, and its inhabitants always make the effort to organize an excellent folk festival lasting a couple of days in a row. More

The Mrduja Race is organized by YC Labud on the first weekend in October and it is one of the oldest sailing races in Europe. The Islet Mrduja, after which this race got its name, is the turning point or an additional finish line on the route Split-Mrduja-Split, 22 miles long. The first sailing race was held in October 1927. More

Traditional folk festival of the Holy Cross, the patron of the Veli Varoš is a traditional three day event of the Veli Varoš suburb. The event thrives with cultural and artistic events, from Dalmatian a capella singing groups, folk ensemble's, concerts, various exhibitions... The event is held traditionally in the month of May, usually as a part of the Festivities of St. Domnius. More
