Stories of Diocletian bring Split’s Roman story to life through a rich programme of interactive experiences, historical interpretations and performances in the unique setting of Diocletian’s Palace.

During the four-day event, the streets and squares of Split’s historic centre will become an open-air stage where citizens, visitors and the city’s heritage come together. With the participation of costumed professionals and students, the programme will revive the spirit of Emperor Diocletian’s era and offer experiences that combine education, entertainment and a unique journey through history.

Stories of Diocletian invite you not only to observe history as the past, but to experience it, explore it and become part of it.
