The Little School of Contemporary Dance is an educational and artistic programme designed to bring contemporary dance closer to children, young people and adults. Through performances, workshops, films and opportunities to meet artists, the programme encourages audiences to explore contemporary dance, movement and creative expression in an accessible and engaging way.

The second semester of the 2026 programme brings together several programme strands, including activities for children and adults, educational programmes for partner schools, and a series of performances and events open to the wider public.

Among the highlights is the performance “Steps” by UO Fronesis, presented as part of the Museum of Dance programme on 31 October at the Small Stage of the Youth Centre.

Contemporary Dance Weekend (12–15 November 2026) , in collaboration with UO Naturščik and MOT Dance Studio

The second edition of the Contemporary Dance Weekend brings four days dedicated to contemporary dance, offering audiences an opportunity to experience different forms of artistic expression through performances, films, a workshop, an exhibition and a book presentation.

The programme includes the premiere of “How to Stop Time” by Tiramola Dance Association, the guest performance “0.0002 Hectares” by Laura Vojnović, and SPLIT TASK, an evening of dance miniatures by emerging choreographers. The weekend also features film screenings, the “Body Communication” workshop, the “Split Task” exhibition, and the presentation of Sunčica Bandić’s handbook “A Beginner’s Guide to Dance.”
