STANISLAV HABJAN – Split Dialogues

Stanislav Habjan's exhibition is a unique survey of his activities at the intersection of art, literature, and graphic design over the past ten years. Interactive and multimedia in nature, the exhibition also functions as the artist's all-day workspace and a setting for live dialogue. In Split, it will feature the participation of numerous long-time and new multimedia collaborators, including artists and musicians from Zagreb as well as the local Split scene.

Stanislav Habjan works across writing, design, visual art, performance, and multimedia. His prose has been included in several anthologies of contemporary Croatian short stories and novellas. As a designer, he has created numerous visual identities for Croatian and international artistic projects, film and music festivals, exhibitions, and theatre productions. He designed posters and catalogues for Croatian artists' presentations at the Venice Biennale (1997, 2003, 2005), and his posters have been featured in Graphis Poster Books (1994, 1995, 2004). Together with Danijel Žeželj, Boris Greiner, and other collaborators, he has realized numerous multimedia projects and performances.

DUNJA JANKOVIĆ & IRENA GAJIĆ – I Have So Much to Tell You

I Have So Much to Tell You is the third exhibition in the Illustrators' Dialogue series, which pairs illustrators who have never previously met or collaborated. Over the course of one year, each pair develops a new joint project through correspondence and the exchange of ideas. This edition presents the collaboration between illustrator Irena Gajić (Belgrade) and multidisciplinary artist Dunja Janković (Barcelona).

Dunja Janković (Rijeka, 1980) is an artist and illustrator whose interdisciplinary practice encompasses collage, comics, artists' books, interactive installations, street interventions, and screen printing. She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2005 and earned an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2008. She founded the multimedia art project Škver in Mali Lošinj (2010–2015), co-organized The Projects, an international comics festival in Portland, Oregon, and has taught experimental comics practices at the Independent Publishing Resource Center in Portland.

Irena Gajić (Belgrade, 1987) studied and completed her Master's degree at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade in 2011. She worked as a programme designer and curator at KC Parobrod in Belgrade. Her professional illustration career began with an honorary award in the Fairy Tales competition organized by the New York-based collective Blank Space. Her illustrations have been exhibited at major international architecture and design exhibitions, including the Chicago Architecture Biennial (2017) and the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (2019). As a member of the Moderni u Beogradu collective, she represented Serbia at the Venice Biennale in 2021.
