The Network of Consciousness and Subconsciousness is an exhibition and an interactive art workshop that explores how through drawing, stain, association and symbolism we can get to know ourselves, but also look at others differently. The exhibition presents works created as part of an art workshop conducted at the Academy of Arts in Split by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Dunja Pivac and assistant Ida Bugarić Đuka, as part of the Science Festival 2025 and the course Art Methodology 1. Each work is accompanied by a comment from its author, as well as a blank sheet of paper that leaves space for visitors to make their own interventions. The exhibition is not just a space for observation, but continues to build and "network" with each new drawing and reaction.

The accompanying workshop starts from a random stain and the way we give it meaning. It is inspired by the concept of a projective test and is based on the game of perception, associations and artistic expression. Through simple art tasks, participants will explore their own associations, get to know themselves and others, and observe how completely different stories and images can emerge from the same initial stimulus.

The resulting works become part of a visual network that connects the consciousness and subconsciousness of the individual, as well as the experience of the group. The goal of the workshop is not to "interpret" what has been drawn, but rather to open up space for a different perception of oneself and others through visual language and its symbolism.

The number of places is limited to 20 participants. In the case of registration of persons under the age of 15, the content of the workshop will be adapted to their age.
