EXHIBITION OF SEBASTIJAN DRAČIĆ: "FRAGMENTS"

Location: Emanuel Vidović Gallery (Poljana kraljice Jelene 4)

Dates: June 30 – August 30, 2026

The exhibition will open on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Emanuel Vidović Gallery, located at Poljana kraljice Jelene 4 in Split. The exhibition is organized by the Split City Museum, and curated by Iva Körbler and Nela Žižić.

With the exhibition Fragments, Sebastijan Dračić is presenting his work to the Split audience for the first time. The exhibition features a selection of large-format paintings created between 2013 and the present day. Working primarily in oil on canvas, the artist creates seemingly realistic landscapes that merge real and imagined elements, enhancing their dreamlike atmosphere. Dračić's work explores themes related to humanity, the relationship between people, nature, and society, as well as the concepts of utopia and dystopia. His paintings become spaces where the past, present, future, and fiction intertwine.

The exhibition is accompanied by a richly illustrated bilingual catalogue in Croatian and English. Throughout its duration, art workshops for primary and secondary school students will also be held.
