Location: The Split City Museum

Date: September 24 - October 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

After a thorough renovation, co-financed with European Union grants as part of the project “Palace of Life, City of Changes”, the ground floor of the Great Papalić Palace, home to the Split City Museum, has received a contemporary permanent exhibition.

The exhibition presents the layered story of Split – from Roman foundations and early medieval structures, through the Renaissance circle of Dmine Papalić and Marko Marulić, all the way to the present day. Through multimedia, interactive features, and educational sections, visitors are offered new insights into the continuity of life and the city’s identity.

The Museum is open to visitors, and it can be visited free of charge until October 12, 2025,  on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except Mondays and public holidays).
