Location: Meadow below the “Umberto Girometta” Mountain Hut, Mosor

The Croatian Mountaineering Society “Mosor” is organizing the 10th Mosor Film Festival this year, taking place from 10 to 13 September 2026.

The festival celebrates film, mountains and people who push boundaries. Alongside film screenings dedicated to mountains, nature, mountaineering, caving, alpinism, sport climbing, extreme sports and adventure, visitors to Mosor can enjoy a variety of workshops and activities for children and adults throughout the weekend.

The festival opens on Thursday, 10 September at 7:00 PM at Kino Karaman in Split, after which the programme moves to Mosor. From Friday to Sunday, films will be screened at Ljuvač Meadow, below the Umberto Girometta Mountain Lodge, where visitors can enjoy film screenings under the stars.

Sunday, 13 September

08:00 – Mountain yoga for children and adults – Temi Maslov

09:30 – Watering newly planted seedlings and an educational walk

10:30 – Traditional diplice musical instrument-making workshop – Goran Mikas

Admission to the festival and all workshops is free of charge.

For those who wish to stay overnight on Mosor, camping is available in tents in the area around the meadow where the film screenings take place. Visitors are encouraged to bring a backpack, tent and blanket and spend the weekend immersed in nature, enjoying socialising, workshops and films under the stars.

Please note: Due to roadworks, visitors travelling to Sitno Gornje are advised to take the route via Srinjine.
