Split once again brings a rich and diverse Easter program, combining tradition, music, community spirit, and joy for the youngest. From Lenten concerts to outdoor family events, both residents and visitors can look forward to a variety of activities celebrating the spirit of Easter.

Lenten Concert

March 29, 2026 (Sunday) | 12:00 – 13:30 - Gaje Bulat Square

Lenten Concert “Na Cvitnu Nedilju”“

Easter Egg Painting

March 30 (Monday) – April 3 (Friday), 2026 | 09:00 – 16:00 - In front  of the Split Tourist Bord Office

For the thirteenth consecutive year, Split continues this recognizable Easter tradition – painting large Easter eggs in collaboration with the veterans’ association BLU, under the patronage of the Split Tourist Board.

Each day during this period, citizens and visitors—including children—will have the opportunity to participate in creative workshops and enjoy the process of decorating Easter eggs. This colorful and joyful activity brings the spirit of Easter and togetherness to the city streets.

Sweet Easter Morning

April 5, 2026 (Easter Sunday) | 11:00 – 14:00 - Strossmayer Square (Đardin)

Celebrate Easter morning in Split with an open-air gathering and a festive program for all generations.

Visitors can enjoy:

• Distribution of free Easter eggs and traditional sweet bread (sirnica)
• A festive music and entertainment program

The distribution of Easter delicacies will be carried out by the residents of the Juraj Bonači institution, in cooperation with the Split Tourist Board, sharing warmth and the true spirit of community with all visitors.

Children’s Easter Monday

April 6, 2026 (Easter Monday) | 10:00 – 12:30 - Strossmayer Square (Đardin)

A special program for children begins with a performance by the children’s folklore group kudž Filip Dević, followed by a variety of fun and educational activities.

Creative Workshop:

• Sensory games and egg painting (ages 0–3)
• Easter wreath making (2+)
• Eco Easter: planting small plants (3+)
• Easter metal relief – embossing ornaments in metal (ages 6–10)
• Egg holders (ages 6–12)

* Workshops will take place in multiple time slots, and participation requires prior registration.

Fun Games with Prizes:

• Fastest Bunny – sack race
• Egg Gives You Speed – egg-and-spoon race

All-Day Family Activities:

• Spring Under the Trees – shared storytime
• Colorful Faces – face painting
• Kindergarten in the Park – creative play corner
• Bunny Photo Time – meet the Easter mascot and enjoy a photo corner
