17th INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF PRECIOUS AND SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES – MINERAL EXPO – SPLIT

Location: Lora Hall (Poljudsko šetalište 1)

Date: April 5–6, 2025, from 10 AM to 8 PM

For years, we have been presenting mineralogy and paleontology to satisfied visitors in a simple and accessible way, with the participation of numerous exhibitors from Croatia and abroad.

The fair has both a sales and educational aspect. Exhibitors offer raw minerals from around the world, original fossils, jewelry, and decorative or functional items made of semi-precious stones at especially affordable prices. The largest selection is of unique jewelry crafted from nearly all known types of inorganic and organic semi-precious stones, attracting a great number of visitors.

Precious stones such as cut rubies, sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, and opals from Australia and Ethiopia are also available. For collectors and enthusiasts of raw minerals, the fair offers a variety of valuable specimens from around the world: raw minerals from the Trepča mine in Kosovo, Kreševo citrine and hyalophane quartz from Bosnia and Herzegovina, zeolites from India, amethysts, agates, and quartz from Brazil, lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, a large collection of opals, sapphires, and rubies from Australia, astrophyllite, shungite, and seraphinite from Russia, larimar from the Dominican Republic, and more.

Original fossils of extinct animals are also available, including 450-million-year-old trilobites, 85-million-year-old ammonites, dinosaur teeth, crocodile skulls, mammoth tusk fragments, teeth of extinct shark species, and petrified wood fossils.

Associations such as Lepoglavski Ahat, Kalcit, and Kreševski Citrin will present their work and the mineral wealth of their respective regions. Visitors can also take advantage of certified gemologist services for jewelry analysis and appraisal. Additionally, publishing houses will offer a wide selection of specialized and popular literature.

Those interested in crystal healing will have the opportunity to speak with both domestic and international crystal therapists.
