A new tourism product was presented at the premises of the new Tourism and Hospitality School Split as a result of the innovative project “Yours digitally, Central Dalmatia”, implemented under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport through the public call Promotion and Strengthening of Vocational Skills in Tourism.

The project brought together around 30 students from two Split-based secondary schools – the Tourism and Hospitality School and the School of Electrical Engineering – who, with the mentorship and support of educational programs and partner institutions, developed a series of digital postcards aimed at promoting the cultural heritage and sustainable tourism of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County.

Through collaboration with numerous institutions and tourist boards, students participated in fieldwork and storytelling-in-tourism workshops and contributed to the creation of visual and functional content that connects local heritage with modern digital tools.

A special emphasis of the project is placed on sustainable tourism, and the postcards – available via the online platform yoursdigitally.net – allow users to download and send a personalized message from the destination with a single click, while simultaneously promoting its cultural value and modern approach to tourism.

This project is yet another successful example of how combining education, tourism, and technology can result in creative solutions with added value for the destination.
