The fourteenth Night of the Book is being organized to mark World Book and Copyright Day (April 23) and Croatian Book Day (April 22), in order to draw attention—together—to books and reading, and to emphasize their value and significance for individuals and the world at large.

Following the Night of the Book, the nationwide retail campaign Books for Everyone, Everywhere will continue in almost all bookstores across Croatia, as well as in publishers’ and bookstores’ online shops, offering special promotional discounts from April 23 to April 27, 2025.

The program will take place in bookstores, libraries, antiquarian shops, schools, cultural centers, streets, squares, and virtual spaces. This year as well, Night of the Book will be a place of gathering, dialogue, and the shared joy of reading.
