The Association of Women Treated for Breast Cancer Split is organizing a public event titled “Pink Palm Sunday” to raise awareness about the importance of preventive screenings for early detection of breast cancer.

Olive branches – symbols of peace, hope, and strength – will be distributed on the Riva, and all funds raised will be donated to the County League Against Cancer for the “Park of Life” project, a green oasis of peace and recovery for patients of the University Hospital Split.

All citizens are invited to join this noble initiative and help plant a long-living olive tree as a symbol of support for those battling serious illnesses.
