WORLD TOURISM DAY - ETHNOLOGY, CULTURAL HERITAGE AND TRADITION

The Tourist Board of Split proudly organizes the closing evening of the Spli'ski litnji koluri 2024 event, marking World Tourism Day. The evening, titled Ethnology, Cultural Heritage, and Tradition, is dedicated to celebrating the richness of our cultural heritage, ethnology, and traditions. The event will take place on September 27 at Gajo Bulat Square, starting at 7:00 PM.

 

Performing:

 

  • Majorettes of the City of Split

  • Sinj Majorettes

  • Rera Singers from Sinj

  • The Association for the Preservation of the Cetina Region Heritage from Sinj and the Otok municipality will present the richness of traditional customs through choreographies 
     
  • KUD (Cultural  and artistic society) Dalmacija - Dugi Rat 

  • Oliver Rogošić – Oki, a musician and guardian of traditional instruments, perform songs on instruments such as the Istrian mih, šargija, and bagpipes
     
  • Musician Vjekoslav Aljinović - Veki

 

This event offers a unique opportunity to experience authentic cultural heritage, music, and dance, with a rich program for all visitors.
