Everything is ready for the start of the three-week Advent program at the Split campus. The stalls on the covered plateau in front of the Tri fakulteta building already proved last year to be the city’s top Advent destination.

The organizers of this magical event—Split Student Center (SCST), the Student Union of the University of Split (SZST), and the University of Split—with strong support from the Split-Dalmatia County, the City of Split, the Tourist Board of the City of Split, and the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, have joined forces to create an unforgettable experience for all visitors.  

On Thursday, November 28, 20,000 lights will be illuminated, followed by a concert by Albina and her band. The program is truly rich, featuring 18 concerts over 22 days of Advent.

Many renowned singers and entertainers will perform, ensuring there’s never a dull evening for students. On the second day, Andrea Šušnjara, a former lead singer of the band Magazin, will hold a solo concert. On Friday, December 6, St. Nicholas Day, Maja Šuput will perform, while Saturday is reserved for Klapa Šufit.  

Hip-hop fans will enjoy Saturday, December 14, as TBF takes the stage, followed the next day by the proven entertainment duo Matko and Brane. On Wednesday, December 18, the day before the event closes, Jole will take over the campus stage.  

You’ll surely be impressed by the festive decorations, with over 1,000 work hours invested in setting up a vibrant array of Christmas ornaments and colorful decor. However, what will truly win you over are the affordable prices at the food and drink stalls, designed to fit a student budget.  

This year, the campus features five stalls—one offering food and four serving beverages. Visitors can enjoy everything from coffee, mulled wine, and gin to fritters, pancakes, burgers, tortillas, and sausages.  

Beyond the music, attendees can take part in a variety of additional activities, such as trivia quizzes and visits from Santa Claus. The space is covered and wind-protected, so weather conditions won’t interfere with the program.  

Most importantly, the Advent festivities will conclude with a charity concert by the Medical Faculty Student Choir on Thursday, December 19, just six days before Christmas. In other words, Advent at the Campus won’t act like the Grinch trying to steal Christmas but will instead enhance the joy and peace of the season.
