Location: Museum of Fine Arts (Ulica kralja Tomislava 15)

Date and time: 29 October – 29 November 2026, opening at 7 PM

Curator: Iris Slade

The photography exhibition by Zrinka Buljević presents a selection of works created between 2011 and 2026, in which the artist explores the relationship between architecture, nature, light and people through everyday scenes from Split and Bol on the island of Brač. Taken with a mobile phone, these photographs, which she calls “passing impressions”, capture seemingly ordinary moments in which she discovers unusual situations, visual harmony and the hidden poetry of everyday life.

The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the artist’s longstanding photographic practice, characterised by documentary authenticity, subtle humour and a personal connection to places and people. Her return to a solo exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts also marks four decades since her first solo photography exhibition at Fotoklub Split.

Opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM; Thursday: 10 AM – 9 PM
