EXHIBITION OF STIPE NOBILO: “ETERNAL MIDDAY SUN”

Location: Old City Hall (Narodni trg – Pjaca)

Time: May 22 – July 26, 2026

In the representative space of the Old City Hall in Split, on Friday at 7 PM, the solo exhibition of the renowned Croatian painter Stipe Nobilo titled “Eternal Midday Sun” will be ceremoniously opened.

The exhibition is organized by the Split City Museum, and the author of the curatorial text is Petra Dajak Belas.

This exhibition has a highly celebratory character, marking the 80th anniversary of the artist’s birth, as well as exactly 50 years since his historic solo exhibition at the “Zagreb” Gallery in May 1976, when the painter first presented himself to a wider audience outside his native Korčula.

Residents of Split and their guests will have the opportunity to see a carefully selected collection of Nobilo’s finest works, in medium and large formats, created over the past five years.

Opening hours of the Old City Hall are from 9 AM to 8 PM.
