The Days of Recreational Sports for Persons with Disabilities will take place this Saturday at Mertojak in Split, organized by the Parasports Association of the City of Split.

The event will be held at the basketball court in Mertojak from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, showcasing three sports: hanging bowling, boccia, and wheelchair basketball.

In addition, everyone will have the opportunity to measure their blood sugar and blood pressure free of charge. The goal of the event is to promote inclusion, recreation, and sports activities for persons with disabilities.

The Parasports Association of the City of Split was founded in 1967 and brings together several clubs and associations, including: Athletic Sports Club “ASK,” Bocce Club for Persons with Disabilities “Sveti Duje,” Judo Club for Persons with Disabilities “YUKI,” Wheelchair Basketball Club “Split,” Hanging Bowling Club “Split,” Volleyball Club for Persons with Disabilities “Split,” Swimming Club “Cipal,” Swimming Club “Mornar,” Table Tennis Club “NEC,” Taekwondo Club “Galeb,” Tennis Club for Persons with Disabilities “SPLIT 2020,” Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities “DES,” and the County Association of the Blind Split.
