This production of Shakespeare's Hamlet is directed by Ivan Leo Lemo, currently one of the most famous Croatian theatre directors, whose main aim was to make this masterpiece relevant and meaningful to adolescent as well as adult audiences of the 21 century, while still keeping original Shakespearean English verse very much alive. 

It is performed in English by young and talented Stage First! actors from First Grammar School in Split, who embraced the director's vision with such enthusiasm and dedication that the play has so far been performed six times, to great public acclaim.
