The Tourist Board of Split, in collaboration with the Institute for Tourism and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Split, is surveying the characteristics of tourist demand in the city of Split. The survey is being carried out to develop a Strategic Marketing and Operational Plan for tourism development in Split for 2025-2030.

The survey collects data from guests in hotels, hostels, and family accommodation facilities on their profile, travel and stay characteristics in Split, expenses during their stay in Split, and attitudes towards the tourist offerings of Split.

The survey is conducted by IPSOS agency interviewers through personal interviews with tourists using computers (tablets). The survey will be conducted from the beginning of May to the end of October 2024. Both domestic guests and guests from main foreign markets will be surveyed.
