Split Open is an international debating competition organized by the University of Split Debating Union, bringing together participants from various countries through a multi-day program of competition, education, and exchange of ideas.

Split Open 2026 will take place from July 17 to 19 in Split and will host speakers from around the world in a program focused on debate, idea exchange, and community building.

The competition includes five debate rounds with a break to the semifinals, along with EUDC preparation led by an experienced CA team.

Participants are provided with accommodation near the venue and the beach, as well as meals during the event.

In addition to the competitive segment, the program also offers opportunities for informal socializing and networking in a summer setting. Registration and further details will be announced soon.
