Dates: 6–7 November 2026
AdriaMed 2026 – A New Chapter in Medicine is a student medical congress that will take place on 6 and 7 November 2026 at the School of Medicine, University of Split. Over two days of expert lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and interdisciplinary sessions, the congress will bring together medical students, young doctors, residents, researchers, and experts from various fields of medicine.
This year’s theme focuses on the future of healthcare and the changes shaping modern medicine – from scientific and technological advances, artificial intelligence, and digitalization to new approaches to diagnosis and treatment, personalized medicine, and the prevention of chronic diseases.
The programme will also address current global health challenges, emerging infections and pandemics, public health, medical research, healthcare economics, communication, as well as the future of the medical profession and medical education.
AdriaMed is envisioned as a meeting place for different generations and fields of medicine, with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experience, and new perspectives. It provides participants with an opportunity to connect the academic, healthcare, and wider social communities, as well as to explore new insights and approaches that will shape the clinical practice of the future.
The congress is being organized as a student initiative focused on the development of medical education, student research, and new generations of physicians, with an emphasis on collaboration, interdisciplinarity, and the application of contemporary knowledge in medicine.
