Location: different locations in Split

From May 5 to May 10, 2025, the city of Split will host the Science Festival, organized by the University of Split. This year's theme is "Networks" Over six days, a total of 172 activities will take place across various locations in Split and surrounding areas, including lectures, workshops, presentations, exhibitions, experiments, panel discussions, and round tables.

The Science Festival has been held annually in Croatia since 2003 with the goal of bringing science closer to the public by informing people about scientific activities and achievements, improving public perception of scientists, and inspiring young people to explore and acquire new knowledge.

The festival promotes scientific principles and ways of thinking. A key target audience is always children, as the aim is to spark their curiosity, encourage them to explore their surroundings and the world, and inspire some of them to pursue careers in science. However, throughout all editions of the Science Festival at the University of Split, there have always been numerous activities for all age groups, from preschoolers and school students to the general public.
