The Split City Museum and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in the Republic of Croatia invite you to the opening of the exhibition "SAX – The Story". The exhibition traces the remarkable journey of the saxophone, from the dramatic life of its inventor, Adolphe Sax, through the elegant salons of Paris, to jazz clubs around the world and the rich tradition of the saxophone in Croatia.

Visit the exhibition and discover the story of a visionary who died in poverty but secured an enduring place in history through his extraordinary invention.

The official opening will take place on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, at 12:00 noon in the Small Gallery of the Split City Museum, Dioklecijanova 2, Split.
