15th Interdepartmental Conference: “Transforming Work Environments: Pathways to Sustainable Success and Employee Well-being”

On September 25–26, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Split will host one of the region’s most significant academic events. This is the 15th Interdepartmental Conference in the fields of management, organization, and entrepreneurship, titled “Transforming Work Environments: Pathways to Sustainable Success and Employee Well-being”, organized by the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economics in Split in partnership with the Academy of Management (AOM), the world’s leading organization in management and organizational sciences, as well as with regional management academies.
AOM brings together nearly 21,000 members from over 120 countries and is renowned for hosting the largest annual management conference worldwide. The arrival of AOM in Split represents a significant recognition for the Croatian academic community and opens the door to stronger international collaboration among researchers, educators, and business professionals. More than 80 professors, researchers, postgraduate students, and practitioners from Southeast Europe are expected to participate, further highlighting the importance and relevance of this event.
The conference spans two days and offers panel discussions, lectures, workshops, and a research incubator, collectively creating an inspiring environment for new partnerships and projects. On September 25, the Interdepartmental Conference will focus on challenges in transforming work environments, featuring a highlighted panel: “Leader Perspectives: Key Challenges and Opportunities in Transforming Work Environments.”
The following day hosts the AOM Regional Meeting & Workshop in English, where participants will hear lectures from distinguished global scholars: Alex Stajkovic, Kayla Stajkovic, and Goran Kuljanin. The program also includes a workshop for early-career researchers, “Starting Strong at AOM”, as well as a research incubator where submitted scientific papers will be discussed.
