CAC WITH LOVE BRINGS 200 COMPETING DOGS OF ALL BREEDS TO SPLIT  

On Sunday, March 23, 2025, Split will become the center of the canine world, as dog lovers will have the chance to enjoy a competition featuring 200 dogs from as many as 75 different breeds—including native Croatian breeds and rare exotic ones.  

Organized by the Split Kennel Club, the second edition of the national dog show CAC With Love Split 2025 will take place this year. Nearly 150 exhibitors will participate, presenting 200 dogs from 75 breeds. While most exhibitors come from Croatia, competitors will also arrive from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Italy, Finland, Ukraine, and the USA—an impressive achievement for an event only in its second year.  

Dogs will be represented across all 10 FCI groups, giving visitors the opportunity to see everything from the imposing Argentine Dogo to the tiny Pomeranian, along with various pointers, hounds, and some rare and exotic breeds such as the American Coonhound, Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, and hairless breeds.  

The Split Kennel Club, one of the oldest kennel associations in Croatia and the longest-running canine organization in Split, is dedicated to promoting native Croatian breeds through its work and this exhibition. Among them is the Dalmatian dog, the "spotted jewel" that serves as the club’s and the CAC With Love Split event’s emblem.  

Other native Croatian breeds featured in the exhibition include the Tornjak, a shared breed of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Istrian Shorthaired Hound and the Posavac Hound.  

The organizers invite all dog lovers and canine enthusiasts to join them on Sunday, March 23, at the NK Bili AS grounds in Špinut. Judging in the CAC With Love rings will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until 3:00 PM, when the final competition—the Best in Show—will take place.
