In the mid15th century, the walk along the northern wall of Diocletian’s Palace was completed. Repairs and reinforcements of the ancient walls were carried out during the rule of the Barbaro family, whose crest was embedded at several locations within the Palace. During this period, the walls and towers, which still retained their fortification role, were enhanced with battlements constructed using small, uncut stones.

Discover all the secrets of the Walk in the mystical ambiance of an evening atop the northern wall of the Palace.
