As part of the international summer school The Fundamentals 2, a public lecture titled “Seeing the Invisible Universe – and Bringing It Back to Human Life” will be held by Prof. Tadayuki Takahashi from the University of Tokyo.

The lecture will explore how technologies originally developed to study the universe have found applications in areas that directly benefit society – from monitoring radioactive contamination and medical imaging to the research and preservation of valuable historical artifacts.

The program will begin with a short performance of traditional Dalmatian music, followed by the lecture, which is intended for a general audience and will be delivered in English.
