DAYS OF STOBREČ 2026 - FEAST OF ST. LAWRENCE AND FISHERMEN'S NIGHT

 

Stobreč Celebrates the Feast of St. Lawrence – Fishermen's Night, Procession and Two Days of Live Music

 

The Stobreč Local Committee invites the citizens of Split, Stobreč and all visitors to join the traditional Fishermen's Night and the celebration of the Feast of St. Lawrence, taking place on 9 and 10 August 2026 in Stobreč.

 

The Days of Stobreč event once again brings together cultural, entertainment and religious events celebrating the traditions of the town and its patron saint, St. Lawrence.

 

Sunday, 9 August 2026

The programme begins at 8:30 PM at Porat Harbour, where members of the PŠRK Stobreč Fishing Club will traditionally serve free grilled sardines and local wine to visitors.

Central Stobreč Park

  • 9:00 PM – Johnny Gitara with Festivo Band
  • 10:00 PM – Jole

The programme runs until midnight.

 

Monday, 10 August 2026

The Feast of St. Lawrence will be marked by a traditional procession through the streets of Stobreč followed by a solemn Holy Mass, beginning at 10:30 AM.

Evening concert programme – Central Stobreč Park

  • 9:00 PM – Klapa Iskon
  • 10:00 PM – Vuco

The programme concludes at midnight.

 

Throughout both days, food, beverage and souvenir stalls will be available around the event venue.

 

Temporary Traffic Regulation

To ensure the safety of participants and the expected large number of visitors, temporary traffic restrictions will be in place on 9 and 10 August 2026, from 7:00 PM to midnight, including road closures at the following locations:

  • the intersection of Imotska Street and Stepinac Street,
  • Klanci (below the bunker),
  • Streljana – Ivankova Street.

Visitors are kindly requested to follow the temporary traffic signage and the instructions of police officers, security personnel and event stewards.

Due to the expected high attendance, visitors are encouraged to walk whenever possible and to use available parking areas outside the town centre to reduce traffic congestion and ensure unobstructed access for emergency services.
