Location: Ethnographic Museum in Split (Iza Vestibula 4)

In the first edition of The Second Museum this year, in collaboration with museum visitors, we will create the initial contours of an installation that will be presented during the Night of Museums on January 30. The collective work, entitled “Building a Better World Through Culture” will symbolize people’s emotions and attitudes toward culture as a social element that connects people, builds understanding and togetherness, enriches lives, inspires, and fosters respect and love for others and for those who are different.

By choosing the color of the element they create, each participant will leave their mark on the collective installation, thus communicating their own thought or association related to the concept of culture. In this way, the completed work becomes a shared reflection on culture, emerging as an artistic object in its own right.

We invite you to join us in creating the work on Thursday, January 22, starting at 6:00 PM at the Ethnographic Museum in Split. The continuation of the work and the final presentation of the installation are planned for the Night of Museums, on Friday, January 30.
