WORLD BUDO CAMP 2025 – A PREMIER MARTIAL ARTS EVENT IN SPLIT  

On behalf of the WMAG Main Board and the World Combat Jitsu Federation, a decision has been made to host a major sports and social event – World Budo Camp 2025 – in Split from June 6 to 8, 2025. Organized by JJK Uragan at SC Gripe, this event will bring together top martial arts masters in Jujitsu, MMA, grappling, and other disciplines, alongside the prestigious kickboxing competition – Split International Open.  

A highlight of the camp’s opening day will be the 12th edition of the International Hall of Fame of Martial Arts (IHoF), where new distinguished members – martial arts legends from around the world – will be inaugurated.  

So far, the camp has hosted over 5,000 participants from 53 countries, and through the International Hall of Fame of Martial Arts and Sports project, some of the world’s greatest fighters in K1, MMA, karate, Jujitsu, boxing, and other martial arts have visited Split. Among the ambassadors are legendary fighters such as Alistair Overeem and Ernesto Hoost, and the entire concept enjoys a high reputation on the international scene, with numerous praises for its top-tier organization, sustained for over a decade.  

This year’s event is expected to welcome around 500 athletes of all ages from more than 20 countries.  

Beyond the sporting aspect, World Budo Camp 2025 carries an important social mission. All participants, alongside global martial arts legends, will support the Anđeli Association from Split, which cares for people with developmental disabilities. The event will also attract many prominent figures from sports, politics, and the arts, including our ambassadors, world champions, top coaches, and martial arts masters – as well as all those who wish to be part of this remarkable sports and social gathering.
