The Croatian Olympic Committee, in cooperation with the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO), is organising an international gathering of representatives of European and national sports organisations, sports institutions and civil society organisations.

European Sport Platform 2026 will provide a forum for exchanging experiences and good practices and discussing current issues and challenges facing European sport. The programme will address topics including the position of women in sport, volunteering and its social and economic significance, the inclusion of vulnerable socioeconomic groups in sport, and the role of sports organisations in strengthening cooperation and resilience across the sports sector.

As part of the event, the final conference of the Erasmus+ project Sport for Unity, Resilience and Empowerment (SURE), in which the Croatian Olympic Committee participates as a project partner, will take place on 15 October.
