Location: Sailing Club Split (Lučica 4) and Kaštela Bay

Sailing Club Split is hosting the 19th Kaštela Bay Cup, a traditional sailing regatta that once again brings together competitive sailing, Dalmatian gastronomy and social events.

The programme begins on Friday at Sailing Club Split with a skippers’ meeting, followed by an evening dedicated to Dalmatian cuisine. A traditional fish dish will be prepared, and participants will have the opportunity to vote for the best team. The evening will continue with music and a DJ.

Saturday and Sunday are reserved for sailing in Kaštela Bay. Depending on weather and sailing conditions, participants will compete in either a coastal race or a triangular course. Crews can choose between two racing categories – Racer and Cruiser-Racer. If the triangular course is held, Racer crews will complete two laps, while Cruiser-Racer crews will complete one.

In addition to the competition, participants can take part in a photography contest. Crews will have the opportunity to capture moments from the event both on the water and ashore, with the best photograph selected on Sunday morning.

Sailing continues on Sunday, when the course will be decided depending on weather conditions and the programme of the previous day. The overall winner will be the crew with the lowest total score from the races completed.

The event concludes with the prize-giving ceremony and a celebration for all participants.

The 19th Kaštela Bay Cup offers a weekend of sailing, Dalmatian gastronomy, music and socialising, bringing sailors together once again in the waters of Split and Kaštela Bay.
